Privacy Policy

We collect only the information necessary to provide our resume building service:

• CV Content: The text, work history, education, and skills you enter into the editor.
• Profile Information: Your name and email address if you decide to create an account.

Guest Mode: If you use NextCV without logging in, your data is stored locally in your browser's local storage. It is never uploaded to our servers.

Account Mode: When you sign up, your resumes are securely synced to our cloud database. This allows you to safely access your documents from any device.

We offer login via Email (Magic Link) or Google OAuth. We only store the authentication tokens necessary to verify your identity. We do not see or store your Google password, and we do not request access to your wider Google account data.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. NextCV never touches, sees, or stores your credit card details.

If you use our AI features (such as generating bullet points or the Recruiter Scan), your text content is processed dynamically to provide suggestions.

• Ephemeral Processing: Your content is sent to our AI provider solely to generate the response and is not permanently stored.
• No Training: Your CV data is strictly NOT used to train public AI models. Your work history remains your intellectual property.

We use minimal cookies strictly essential for the application's functionality (e.g., maintaining your authenticated session). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

Under European GDPR laws, you have the right to Data Access, Correction, Deletion ("Right to be forgotten"), and Portability. You can exercise these rights directly from your Account Dashboard or by contacting our team at privacy@nextcv.io.
