Is NextCV really free?
Yes. You can build, edit, and preview a CV for free. The free plan includes one template and one PDF export, which resets after 24 hours. No credit card is required to start.
What does Pro include?
Pro gives you unlimited resumes, access to all templates, unlimited PDF exports, full ATS scoring, and priority support. See our Pricing page for current plans.
Where is my data stored?
In guest mode, your data stays in your browser’s local storage and is never uploaded. If you create an account, your resumes are encrypted and stored in our cloud database so you can access them from any device.
What does the ATS score mean?
The ATS score evaluates your CV’s structure against patterns used by applicant tracking systems. It checks for things like section headings, keyword presence, consistent formatting, and readability. A higher score means your CV is more likely to parse correctly when submitted through online applications.
Does the AI make things up?
No. Our AI features analyze and rephrase your existing content to improve clarity and impact. They never fabricate experience, credentials, or skills. You remain in full control of what appears on your CV.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. You can cancel through your Settings page at any time. You’ll keep access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase. Contact support to request a refund — no questions asked.
Is my data sold to recruiters or third parties?
